Paneling done

I slept in a bit, but got the paneling done.  It took longer than expected, since there were so many cuts in each peace.  I started with the bathroom.  This is the shelving that will be by the medicine cabinet

And the cut out for the shower shelving.

With the hole covered, it is pretty dark in the bathroom

I then finished the laundry room.  I had my concerns about the structural integrity of the panel.  You really have to twist and bend the panels a lot to get them through the door.

I decided to go for it anyways.

Surprisingly it held up and was actually easier to install, the lack of board made it very flexible.

There is a minor defect.  I can trim it down later though.

Today's septic update isn't good.  The drain field is almost ready for the piping for the leech field.

He dug some holes seeing where to put the tank though, and didn't find a spot with enough dirt.  This is where it was designed to go.

He also checked a little further down the hill.

I will find out maybe tomorrow what the prognosis is.  The driveway has gotten really bad too, the car almost didn't make it, it is turning into a mudslide.

I went home at that point, swapped over to the truck and grabbed some grub.  I went back up afterwards and got the stuff for the flooring.  The flooring is supposed to acclimate for a day or so before installation.  I did decide to get the underlay.  It was only 45 bucks, and it is safer to get it and not need than to install the floor without it and have the floor separate in a couple of years (like Mom and Dad's kitchen...).  I did bring the sawhorses and stuff in so I can work tomorrow inside.  You can see the flooring inside on the right.

On a side note, even though the exterior outlet can't be used to run the lights circuit (they are on opposite power planes) the laundry room and my clip on light are plenty sufficient for most things.
