A couple of thoughts on this trip:

• The parks on this trip were kind of hit and miss.  Roosevelt and Badlands were great, but Voyageurs and Wind Cave were disappointing and Indiana Dunes was bad.
• North Dakota is a lot prettier than I expected.  Minnesota is also very pretty.  Michigan was a lot flatter than I expected.
• I only ended up camping a couple of times this trip, even though my original itinerary (pre-reservations) was about 30% camping.  Why have campsites gotten so expensive and so obnoxious?  Most of the transitions away were because camping was nearly the same cost as the hotel, or in several spots when I went to reserve them they required multi-night stays.
• My food planning was abnormally poor on this trip.  I ran out of breakfast and lunch (I should have known exactly how many breakfasts I needed too), and I somehow ended up with tons of extra dinners; I had a whole tote of dinner food I didn't even open.  Not sure what happened there.
• I had to pull the Jackery out and charge it 6 times.  That was annoying.  That shouldn't happen with the Bluetti setup though, which has a direct DC alternator charger that didn't come in before I left. Is it worth revisiting the fridge setup?  I can switch it to a single unit, it just costs money, but then I am only running a single compressor.  Hmmmm.
